This tour was from a Golden Princess package. Hilary was our wonderful driver. Even though the weather was wet & windy, we had a fantastic tour. We did see seals & birdlife. Hilary’s coffee & muffins were very welcome.

Hi BuckYorkBuckwheat, You actually got very lucky on the day the Noordam was docked as the weather was fantastic. Obviously the views are pretty incredible from the top of the hills, though it's equally dramatic when there's cloud I can assure you! Kent is one...More

Wellington - Dunedin Seal Coast Tours (5 Replies)
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows if the Seal Coast/Safari Tours are similar in Wellington and Dunedin - so if we do one in each, will it be doubling up, or is it different types of seals, scenery etc.? We are travelling on a cruise stopping at Wellington and Dunedin, and have booked Seal Coast Safari in Wellington, and a Nature's Wonders Tour (I think) in Dunedin. Both sound amazing, but as we have so little time in each place, i wonder if it is doubling up too much? thanks,...More

Thanks so much, that's exactly the info I needed to know. I was leaning towards Dunedin for the penguins too, but I will check out both websites. I'll also have a good look at Wellington to do list on TA, can I ask your advice later on some other things if I have questions? Thank you again, we're so looking forward to the trip now!
