Havana is my favourite coffee when shopping for beans at the supermarket. For the second time in a couple of months I've had the chance to visit their roastery/cafe. The service and the coffee are great. There is a modest selection of cabinet food, which is well-priced and good quality. The place has a good buzz, with a steady flow... More

I had a couple takeaways from here during a brief stay in Wellington, and it has been the absolute best coffee I have had in NZ. The restaurant area is small and there were always several patrons enjoying bakery items. Part of the charm of this place is that they are toasting the beans right next door! Two thumbs up!

Modest place. Indeed good coffe, but thats all. Better gi and take-away the coffe. Old and not well prepeared food. No wifi and place seems more like old pub.

What a cool little place... went there and even got a little insight from the guys roasting the beans, so interesting. The whole place is so chilled out and the coffee is the best in town.

When I'm in the city, I'll normally make a B Line for Havana Coffee house, for the best cup in town, arguably in the Country. Spent some time away from Wellington recently and struggled to get a good cup anywhere. When we got of the plane we caught a taxi straight here.

Fantastic stop for coffee and meeting place. Awesome entrance as you enter where the beans been roasted so the smell of coffee wets your cheeks. The décor is what I would assume Havana to be like. Really creates that feel. Staff great. Fantastic car parked outside, with the visit.

Now that I live in the neighbourhood, I thought I'd check one of my local cafes. Given its location, thought it would be quiet relaxing place to get my morning fix. Quite the opposite. havana Coffee Works 'First Class' room is a destination for others living and working in the area. The staff are welcoming, the distinctive Havana coffee is... More

Havana Coffee works is about a 10-15 min walk depending on your pace from Te Papa museum. It was worth the walk, the coffee was excellent as was the brownie. The coffee was nice and smooth with no bitter notes. I wish I'd been able to get there a second time for more.
