Went as a group with a group of 14 year olds (plus an adult!) and had so much fun. The first couple of courses set you up for the harder levels and give you confidence the higher up the tree you go. Lots of laughter all the way ( to hide the fear!) and staff really helpful. Will definitely be back!

Couple of 19 year olds and couple of 50 plus year olds decide this is the activity for the day and what an activity. Staff were friendly and encouraging and the challenges were varied! While the older pair completed the first three paths and felt exhausted but stoked at completing that, the younger couple headed straight for the last three and more challenging courses. Great to get out of the comfort zone! Three hours flies by

Brilliant and well worth the money. All levels after level 1 are tough we managed to level 4 but hands were getting sore so had to stop. Some great obstacles and zip lines and the staff were also so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this if you are in the area. Great fun.

Wow!! If you love thrill and adventure and don't mind a physical and mental challenge, Adrenalin Forest is for you.

My husband and I did levels 1-3, 5, and 6 (skipping 4). With a brief lunch break, it took 3 hours to go through these levels. And we were both exhausted at the end, despite being quite fit.

The obstacles are mentally challenging - you have to figure out how to get through the course. And doing so is physically challenging, more so on courses 5-6 than 1-3.

The course is designed to be progressive, such that the levels become more difficult as you move through courses 1-6: The heights increase, the obstacles become tougher to negotiate, the spans that you need to traverse increase, and the physical demands increase. However, each course ends on the ground and so the participant can gauge his/her own willingness to move to the next level and is not compelled to do so. This makes it a great group/family activity, with the option of members completing different courses and/or progressing through different levels according to age, ability, and willingness.

The operation provided a very good safety briefing and I was impressed by the attentiveness of the ground staff. The price of admission was very reasonable and a nice relief from the gouging that seems to go on at many of NZ's prime tourist attractions.

As a bit of an aside: One thing I did wonder about was why helmets were not mandatory on this course. I noted that a small number of helmets were available but by the time I noticed the sign indicating such, I had only one more course to complete and so opted not to inquire. Nevertheless, it seemed to me that slipping off any of the platforms or obstacles would introduce a reasonable chance of striking one's head. Perhaps this is not a common injury. But if the risk of head injury is something that concerns you, you should definitely ask for a helmet.

The challenges and tracks are awesome and extremely fun but most of the staff are useless and we didn't get to finish our course as we had 50 min to go and they said we couldn't do the last challenge because it takes a 60 min.

My family went to the park on December 27th, travelling the 25 minutes from Rotorua with our American visitors.
Being a 40-something women of only reasonable fitness who doesn't particularly like heights I was somewhat reluctant, and wasn't entirely sure I'd partake, or just watch the kiddos. Once there, I was encouraged by staff to give it a try...and was sure glad I did.

This place is great fun from start to finish. The safety briefing was concise & thorough - our guide ensured clear understanding before continuing to the next demonstration. Park rules were clear and fair.

The safely clips take only a short time to have operating efficiently & were easily managed by the youngest kid in our group (aged 9) I love the secure aspect of the clips, and at no time felt that my kids were unsafe.

My son had to be "rescued" during level 4 when he suddenly decided that he had had enough. This was handled by the staff member with humour, care and professionalism as she safely guided him down.

The levels are nicely graduated in difficulty ranging from 1-6, getting more challenging and higher. We all only made it to the end of level 4 before we ran out of steam......but with rest I'm sure (I think) we could have continued but we were all really happy to finish on a high after level 4.

We all thoroughly enjoyed out time at Adrenalin Forest, and would recommend it for anyone but especially those with kids or teens with lots of energy to burn. It provides great mental and physical challenge.
24 hours later, my muscles are still sore and my kids (and visitors kids) are still buzzing.

Pack a picnic, drinking water and a vending machine on site but no other food.

Definitely check this out! Great value for the time you get. My family of myself, my wife, 17yo and 16yo had a great time! Challenge yourself on the courses as they do get harder and more exciting. Fearless 17yo did all six courses, wife and I managed five, 16yo maxed out at four. All I did were great fun and I surprised myself doing them as I have a fear of heights, course 5 gets up to 16m!
There is a definite jump in difficulty of each level, I definitely would not have made course six. My 17yo daughter is a gymnast and even she said it was very difficult, requiring a lot of strength, however she loved it.
A couple of sore spots the next day didn't worry us! definitely put time aside for this, you won't regret it!

This place ticks all the boxes! Something for the family, work functions or friends, affordable, enthusiastic staff who are absolutely all about safety and you’re supporting a business who is saving a piece of the forest. We started on Pathway 2…great to get your body all warmed up. Pathway 4 definitely starts to push your limits but we still wanted more! Before jumping on Pathway 6 we were advised “you gotta be strong and good with heights”…he wasn’t lying! Tarzan jumps, flying foxes, wobbly logs and those UFO’s! Already planning the next trip, except this time a BBQ is at the top of the list.

This is a great way to challenge yourself! The course is well set up with six sections of increasing complexity and height. I did it with my wife and teenage daughter and each of us were able to find our own challenges and levels. I think it's a good activity for teenagers upwards.

The safety harness and clip system was good and I always felt safe, although it took me a few minutes to get my head around how to work the clips for best effect. For this reason I'd recommend doing at least one of the lower levels to get used to the equipment before tackling the higher sections. The staff were helpful with the equipment and helping us through the course.

I suggest taking lots of snacks and water - they have a very basic vending machine but otherwise it's BYO.

Been twice, once busy and once quiet.
When its busy they want you off and paying extra to go back on again. They don't manage the holdups so you can't move on stopping you getting where you want to be. There goal is to get you back again and take more money off you
When its quiet. We had two 8 year olds, one managed level 1 and 2, the other just level one. We were told they could go round a few times by our instructor. When they went to go round a second time we were told to either pay an extra $10 (each) or get off!!
Quite abrupt!
All the people enjoyed the course - just watch your wallet.
