We have viewed the falls many, many times over the years & as a spectacle it never ceases to amaze when you see the colour, volume & power of the water flowing over the falls. There are excellent walking tracks with well placed viewing areas...More

The Park closes by 5.30pm. Fortunately, we reached there by 5pm and within 5 minutes, we reached the stout-looking Huka Falls. Amazing green-blue colors and well-worth the trip from Taupo town. Just 10 mins drive. Nice that it's a free attraction.

Free entry with good car parking. The bridge over the falls is hardly 1 minute away from the car park. The falls in itself was quite good. Lots of rainbows in the afternoon across the falls.

The falls has a strong force and the walkway is pleasant so its worthwhile to have a short stopover. It is free and accessible to all.

I love stopping at Huka Falls, so relaxing and amazing seeing the blue water that fills the Waikato river. You don't have to hike to see this either, it's just a 2 minute walk which in grateful for 😂

Beautiful place to stop off on your way into Taupo from the north. Great pictures and fantastic walk.

This place was beautiful to see, it was nice to see the jet boat at the base of the falls doing donuts and showing off. It doesn't cost anything to walk down and see the falls either which is really nice.

Worth a quick visit to see the power of huge volumes of water rushing over a small waterfall, but it won't blow your mind.

Amazing Falls here. Easy walk up and down the length of the rapids. Sometimes you can also see speed boats full of visitors come almost up to the spray off the falls. The Hub Cafe, sadly, has closed near here. Seems the landlord raised the rents too high for them to stay open.
