Walked to Huka Falls from Spa Park, took about 40 minutes each way but great walk. First visit to he Falls was a little disappointing as it is not really a "waterfall" but the power and the speed made up for it and the water was SO blue. Recommend a visit.

Amazing scenery, nice to just watch and listen for a few minutes. Lots of activities such as jet boat after the falls advertised but we did not do any. Was cold the day we went and there had even been snow the day before.

Loud rushing water, turquoise with white rapids. Beautiful look-outs. Easy walk to each of the lookouts.

Nice interlude en route to or from Taupo, of geographical significance. Worth stopping for a brief look or use as a base for a longer tramp. Can be busy and barriers are locked at 5.00pm.

A nice stop for a free site to see. It's a really short walk for the free parking area and you cross over a bridge and down a short path to see the beautiful light blue rushing waters. They have longer paths to take but I am unaware of where they end up. Beautiful area and worth a visit!

Was ok .... But better and worth while if you did the walk / hike. The falls are spectacular all the same . There is a hike you can do which I would recommend.

It's a beautiful hike / run / bike ride from the city. And you are rewarded with a show of the raw power of nature. Gorgeous!

Lovely light blue waters rushing through a ravine ending in small falls. Worth a visit if in the region. Easy to see from a short walk from carpark and it's free!!

This place has become quite touristy since I last visited years ago but once you get your head around that you realise that it is the Falls that you have come to see and they are the star of the show. There are lots of good places for taking photographs and the best locations for taking pictures have been specially... More

Definately a must see, if time is limited then Huka Falls is a must. Great places to take photos of the falls and a little walk around to where the Falls drop off. Also some walks for those who have time and a souvenir shop.
