As an birthday surprise, Mr 12 'jumped' at the chance to have a bungy swing. While the initial exhilaration was brief (the actual ride was over in less than five minutes), the experience is being retold days later as well as being relived through the complimentary video (let staff know it's your birthday and media is free). The attention paid... More

I am firstly going to say I did not do the jump as flinging myself off a bridge 154 feet up is not my thing but three of my party did! I went and watched so I could film them all having the time of their lives??? It's very very well run with friendly staff who defiantly know their stuff... More

I am afraid of heights, but wanted to try to do this to get out of my comfort zone. I am a middle-aged mom of four. I was impressed with the focus on safety, the double and triple-checking of every harness, attachment and jumper's weight. I freaked out when I got the edge and the very patient and kind attendant... My first every bungy jump and I must say this was the best choice for it! Geared up while the staff talked to you and then jumping and experiencing the greatest adrenaline rush! The best part though was the guys in the raft that picked me up; they joked around and made me feel so at ease. The video was... More

Haruka my host student from Japan and I went to Taupo Bungy. He asked to touch the water but unfortunately didn't. Then he wanted to watch his video but one of the screen outside wasn't working so he had to ask one of the staff to enter the code to watch it. He did purchase the video. Once back at... More

Thank you for your 5 star review. So happy to hear you loved your awesome experience. However, I was concerned to hear your husbands upper back hurt afterwards! If you had mentioned this to our staff I would expect them to get him checked out by medical professionals before leaving the site. Since he obviously feels better now, I suspect... More

I went to Taupo this morning specifically for a water touch bungy, having done 3 other 'dry' bungy jumps previously. Taupo specifically sells itself as 'NZ's highest water touch' -so I would expect I had a pretty good chance of getting wet. I was told that it was not guaranteed - I can also accept this as safety is paramount.... More

Thank you Rob for your review and sorry to hear of your disappointment regarding not being able to touch the water during your bungy jump. As you mentioned, we make no secret of the fact that we cannot guarantee water touches - which is written on the waiver form and explained by staff to customers wishing to do so. The... More

Being bungee jumped was invented in New Zealand, we figured we better give it a shot while in the country! We did tandem bungee jumping. so we went in pairs. I can assure you if I was on my own I never would have jumped, but when you know you're falling as soon as your partner jumps, it's easier to... More
