Craters of the moon is an interesting experience of viewing the geo thermal area.At places there is fire burning up while at others there is smoke. There are boards which warn us not to get close as there is a danger of burning.

This is a great place to see some of the landscapes and geo thermal area without crowds. For some reason there were very few people here which made the walk peaceful and great for photos

Well maintained with good even board walks, this geothermal area is not only steaming but blowing out noises. Signage along the way was very helpful to understanding why and what plants can live on such a hot bed, and the difference in formations. Very reasonable...More
