Interesting Maori history, and details about the thermal springs. A must do is the short film shown in their little cinema

This small but well displayed museum focuses on highlighting Maori culture and history. A great introduction. Don't bother to see the film in the little cinema. The authentic relics are the feature.

Cost $20 per adult but really interesting. Id reccomond you do the guided tour (included) as you get a great understanding of the history to rotorua and the building. The tour takes about andan hour and the gardens are also beautiful .
