Great view but no stop for us to take photos much. We booked 2 hours trekking but they let us ride for only 1.5 hours!!! We felt we were cheated.

I've now been twice to this stunning location for horse trekking and in true understated NZ style this is a secret I am a little reluctant to let out!! The first time I visited was in April for my 1st year anniversary and my husband organised a surprise 2 hour Trek to the Trig point- it wasn't perfect weather but... More

We did the 2.5 hour trek. We got really lucky with the weather and the views were stunning. It was a lot of fun and the horses were really neat. Their personalities kept things interesting throughout. Definitely recommend it!

I did the 2 hour horse trek with beatiful viewing points around the farm! Really lovely staff and guide. Amazing horses (Especially Moby, what a great horse!), they take really good care of their horses. I come definitely back!!

I went with a couple of my friends and we ended up being out there for about 3hrs. Was the most amazing view I have ever seen and well looked after and cared for horses. Will be bringing my other friends back with me!!

Really friendly staff and guide. I did the 3 hour trek which was about 25km.Heaps of good viewing points around the farm, especially over the lake. There is also heaps of lovely wildlife. Overall I had a great time, really relaxing but I'm a quite experienced horseman. A beginner would be better choosing the 1 hour trek not the 3.:)

We had an amazing time on a two hour trail ride. Both my boyfriend and I had very little experience and the horses were amazingly patient with awkward beginners (boyfriend). The guides were super friendly and knew a lot about the land, lake and property. The views would be worth walking the hill for, but the added pleasure of horse... More
