What better way to see the 4 lakes around Rotorua than in a 1942 DUK. Our driver/guide for the trip was Austin from the USA who was both knowledgeable and funny and made the trip not only extremely enjoyable but also informative with the background information on the local Maori history. All this plus a run out in an iconic... More

Our guide had a great sense of humour and a great selection of music. Nice way to get a little history using a very unique form of transport. Good job guy's, you really seem to enjoy what you do and that makes it all the better.

We booked on the day and had a fabulous trip. Austin the driver/guide was funny, informative and really enjoying the trip himself although he must have done it quite a few times. He explained about the amphibious Duck we were on and we visited and sailed on three lakes. He gave information about the lakes and the surrounding volcanoes it... More

We chose the duck tour cause we were exhausted from walking in the heat of geothermal areas and knew this would be fun for the family, while sitting and letting someone else drive. We chose the 90 minute tour which includes two lake rides. Our guide Marcus was perfect with enough wise cracks to pass the time. I'd recommend this... More

What a fantastic adventure! After being handed out duck quackers, we took off and quacked at so many people upon the encouragement of our guide. The tour guide was hilarious and I particularly loved the Titanic theme Song being played as we entered the first of three lakes. The tour was filled with much history and local cultural information. The... More

My fiance and I had the most amazing time on this ride. I come from NZ and I learned so much about our culture (from our American host no less) that I didn't know about. We got to see all of the beauty that Rotorua has to offer while also learning about its history and Maori culture. Whether you're a... More
