We did the longer two hour tour but it was horrid wet day. However we had great fun with our driver and guide, Marcus. His commentary and great delivery made the trip even more enjoyable. The Blue Lake was not available due to a competition so went into two other lakes and some interesting areas. We were only a small... More

The duck tour was great fun and the driver/guide was well informed to tell the passengers about the areas through which we drove. I would recommend this activity

Booked this as a way to see the area as rain had forced us to cancel some of our plans. Shaun, our driver and tour guide gave us a very enjoyable commentary, with some interesting facts, (and bad jokes!). It was a novel way to see some of the area and being able to go on both the road and... More

Booked a trip for my family as our first experience upon arrival in Rotorua. It was a good choice and was very fun and entertaining. You know you've done something right when the teenage boy smiles throughout most of the trip. Grandma also loved it. Unique and fun. The driver was hysterical and made us laugh a lot. Plus, you... Great trip out on the Duck, driven by the humourus and knowledgeable Sean. The musical accompaniment to the tour was inspired, it had us rolling in the aisles. We still have our Duck Quackers and look on them as a lovely souvenir of the trip

We did the shorter of the two Duck tours available but it was a great 90+ minutes tour. Informative and fun (as Duck tours are) it was good to see the Government gardens, house and the Sulper point close up without having to do the leg work. Trips to and of course on two different lakes (Tikitapu and Okareka) and... More

We did the 90min three lakes trip when in Rotorua with a Saga tour. It was great fun riding in the duck and then taking to the water on two of the lakes. Our guide Austin was "awesome" as they would say here and kept us fully entertained with his commentary. We didn't see all that much bird life which... More

We always enjoy a good duck tour. What's not to like? Riding in a formidable seventy year old amphibious vehicle, bullying both road and water transportation. Getting informative and witty commentary from the driver. Just don't give the kids duck whistles!

The drive and boating experience was very enjoyable. The ride was reasonably comfortable except for the unusually cold wind. The only reason for not given it a top rating was the difficulty in hearing the driver from 5he back.

This duck tour was a great laugh, we were all given duck hooters and encouraged to use them throughout the trip, the driver was hilarious as well as incredibly informative. A unique tour, which is something we will always remember and an incredible memory.
