it's not a very big falls, however is amazing enough for me as a nature lover. not fair from Paihia town. Not many visitors, manage to take a lot of nice photos. A lot of parking. No harm to just stop for 5-10minutes to enjoy this scenic site.

We have seen many waterfalls around the world and found this a little bit smaller. In this area, rainbow falls is a little more impressive. Visit if you are in the area but do not makes special trip.

We walked from the Waitangi Treaty grounds, about a 5km walk on a bush track that was in good condition. Wouldn't like to do it after too much rain though, could be a bit muddy. We got to the falls and thought it would be good to take a different route back, so followed the road into town - not... More

More amazed by the roosters and chickens roaming around the car park than seeing the actual Falls. Obviously no dogs allowed here as in most areas nearby.

The falls are nice but not extraordinary however if you have time the walk from the falls to Waitangi is very nice not hard and you can come back Over on the road where they are putting a footpath in it's about 12k to do the loop. Walkway over the wet lands well done and we were lucky to see... More

This is a bit of a surprise as you don't expect a waterfall here. Visible from both sides of the bridge so take a quick stop

The falls may not be as popular as Hole in the Rock, but it's definitely something you shouldn't miss when you go on a Bay of Islands trip. So beautiful and majestic and a kayak trip can really get you up close with the falls -- a bit wet, but definitely worth it.

Stunningly beautiful. Five minutes drive from Paihia and totally worth it. Watching people fish was an added bonus

It is very close to the main road, easy access and has plenty of free parking. The falls itself is small but has an interesting horseshoe shape.
