Thanks to diver Dan, Curtis and Craig for two great days out. First day we dived the iconic wreck of the Rainbow Warrior and the second day the HMNZS Canterbury. Very knowledgeable, professional with safety (and fun) at the heart of everything they do. Don't miss out if you get to Paihia.

Craig and the team work well together. Some of the kit needs replacing but that said it was end of season and I'm sure Craig got the guys to give me the 2010 kit as I was a Pomme. Seriously the team are commuted to their clients. We picked up people off of a French cruiser and the team were... More

I did the Open Water course and found all the people at Paihia Dive to be friendly & professional. The course is quite tough and intensive for a total novice like me but they made me feel totally safe in an alien environment and were excellent company too. Faye was a particularly good instructor.

Paihia Dive is well-organized, professional, and friendly hence the five stars. Possibly due to the odd weather in New Zealand this summer, visibility is poor at 10m, water temp is 18c, and there can be currents. Paihia Dive works hard to find dive sites that are suitable though. The HMSNZ Canterbury shipwreck is pretty incredible, and I liked the Rainbow... More

Our day was picture perfect...Craig, the skipper and owner of the dive shop was fantastic as well as his helpful crew. The equipment was in great condition, the boat fully equipped, Craig shared educational information and a safe experience for all. Mostly everyone did 2 dives but we only snorkeled! The snorkeling was amazing and we had a wonderful day.

We dived on the Rainbow Warrior with Dan as a Deep water adventure dive. We had beautiful weather and viz but quite cold water. An excellent version of the story of the Rainbow Warrior story started the day and the dive on the wreck topped it. The setup, briefing and execution were friendly and supportive but very professional. You really... More

My husband son completed 2 days of diving, including The Canterbury Wreck and the Rainbow Warrior Wreck. Gorgeous weather, great location, friendly staff. Only thing that could be improved on was if the staff took more photos of the dive to share. We didn't have any photos of The Canterbury but the staff took quite a few photos of the... More

The guys at Paihia Dive made you feel comfortable and welcome from the get-go. We had two dives with these guys, the first on the Rainbow Warrior Wreck, slightly challenging for me due to being claustrophobic, but Stewart made sure to check on me regularly and make sure I was ok. The Second was on the Teapot Reef, saw some... More

I had a great time with Dan and Stewart; I felt safe at all times and I felt that Dan tailored my experience perfectly with my ability and curiosity. I was on an intro dive, but was made to feel my experience was just as important as those who were doing the Canterbury Wreck dive. I loved it so much... More

I got to dive with these guys while on holiday in NZ.Being an experienced diver with over 2000 dives worldwide this outfit is definataly in my top ten. They are genuinely friendly and well experienced and professional. My only disappointment was that I only had one day free to dive with them.Hopefully I'l be passing through again sometime.
