After a fruitless search for freediving fins that would fit my little lady feet, I came here just before giving up. They were able to find some that fit just right, and even though they were far less than I expected to spend (surprise!) made me feel confident that I was buying a quality product. I drooled over some fancy... More

I am so happy I got my dive certificate here. The staff are so amazing and so helpful it made my dive experience very enjoyable! I loved diving with this company so much I decided to get my Advanced certificate with them right after my open water certificate. They really try to make sure you get the most out of... More

We had a fantastic experience with Craig and Stu from Paihia Dive! They were friendly, professional, and knowledgable. They took care of everything from our perfectly prepped gear to our boxed lunch. They even poured warm water in my vest so it was more pleasant to put on before our second dive. It is Winter in New Zealand after all,... More

Ive been for a few dives over the years with Paihia Dive, and the reason i keep coming back is the owner is a wealth of knowledge of the area and dive sites and there is a fair bit of good kiwi humour on the boats. The crews are some of the best around, even at the end of a... More

Having no diving experience, I wanted to try diving for the first time, and it couldn't have gone better. Alice and Stu were both very nice and friendly, and made me feel at ease. The dive was amazing with a plethora of fish. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Paihia. Cheers guys!

I had never been diving before so decided to do a 'Discover Scuba' trip in the Bay of Islands. I was a little nervous about diving for the first time in the open water, but I don't know what I was worried about! The staff (Stu and Alice) were so professional and made me feel safe the entire time! I... More

With my partner, we wanted to do our advanced open water diver course and we thought that it will be great to do it in Bay of Islands and visit the Rainbow Warrior and the Canterbury Wreck at the same time. We have postponed our trip several times and it was never a problem for the team of Paihia dive.... More

We organised a dive with these guys just a couple of days before and found the process so easy from the time we called the shop to turning up on the morning of the dive. I had found my computer had run down its battery since my last dives a few months ago and they were so helpful in finding... More

Our 2 teenage children did two dives with Paihia Dive. The team were knowledgable and professional and the children said the diving was excellent. HMNZS Canterbury was the last NZ frigate to be sunk and it presents excellent diving and lots of sea life. Highly recommended diving team.
