Curly tight road to the top but worth it for the view of the bays and port. Good photo opportunity , need a sat navy to find your way down!

Make sure you don't drive via Hornsey street which looks like a short-cut to the top, as the road is too narrow and has sudden turns on steep slopes. It could make you feel very dangerous and easy to go wrong. Go through Shakespeare road and follow the signs and you could easily go up to the top, though some... More

Nice views over the port and across the bay. Quite winding and narrow getting to the top in the car, perhaps walking would have been better. Toilets up the top are OK.

Always a great place to take the kids to enjoy the port and bay in all it's glory. We go every time we visit the bay.

The Bluff is a good climb although you can drive by vehicle to the top. We walked and then you can stop on route and look back and enjoy the views. When you reach the top you have very good views of the harbour and the district. Toilets are also located at the top at the car park.

We took a walk up the hill from Ahuriri to see the Ovation of the Seas and it was well worth the effort. Not a difficult walk as the stairs up the hill are well kept and easy to navigate. There is a small carpark at the bottom of the climb. The views over the port are stunning.

Excellent vantage point to view the Napier Port and Napier City. Reasonable parking with toilet facilities. Drive carefully on the way up and down as the road is quite narrow and you will be fine.

After driving up the narrow and winding road we reached the lookout on the top of Bluff Hill and were rewarded with a fantastic view down onto the Port of Napier. Away to the left was the expanse of Westshore Beach, the Ahuriri Estuary and the rolling hills of the hinterland beyond. A reasonable sized car park comfortably handled the... More
