We've been here before but this time came as a tour group. Very nice tasting and we liberated a bottle or two or three to take home with us. Sue was a very pleasant hostess and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There are some who argue that a tasting fee is inappropriate for wineries but we have had experience of... More

You have to pay for tasting unless you buy wine. We found this policy inappropriate and unusual in Hawkes Bay. While this winery has a good range of interesting white wines, the reds were less impressive

Not really wine drinkers ourselves. Went in for a look and were treated to a wonderful wine tasting with some quality wine. A good way to taste the sunshine. Worth the visit

We enjoyed this tasting, fee us $5 pp or you can purchase one of the wines. Beautiful views of the Pacific and nice selection if wines.

Popped in en route to the airport and decided this place is evil if you are visiting from overseas! Very knowledgable and friendly cellar door staff, lovely wines, in particular the late vintage dessert wine (have forgotten the name, was nectar though!). If I wasn't travelling back to Sydney and could carry the wine would have happily bought quite a... More

We were lucky enough to have a full tour of the vineyard (arranged from the UK) and we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience tasting some of the best wines in New Zealand. They are obviously made with great care and passion and we should like to thank Gordon for the time he spent with us. This is a must visit... More

As part of our own organised wine tour for 12, they allowed us to bring our own picnic and sit at their tables admiring the spectacular view. Perfect hawkes bay weather, the location could be the Cinque Terre in Italy. Lovely wine, accommodating and friendly staff. A winery that is a hidden gem from the crowds.

If you only have time to visit one winery, stop In here for the great views and wines. Even though it was closing time, Sue took time to explain about all the varieties and wines. I liked every wine she poured for us and we ended up buying several bottles. Views are great too!

We stopped in on our way back to Rotorua from Napier to have a look, and the lady that helped us was so kind, knowledgeable and funny! The tastings are free if you intend to purchase a wine, so drink up and learn about the awesome work that goes into each bottle.
