We last visited this place over 30 years ago when it was the marine park. What a transformation and obviously targetted at kids. Hoghly recommended.

A very informative attraction where you can view the marine life of the world's continents. Here I saw my first Kiwi, albeit in captivity. It is popular with school parties, rightly so as it is so educational but as a result, it can be a...More

The walk through the national aquarium isn't the longest but the things you see on the walk through are different. It is perfect size to take your children. It's a once in a lifetime adventure.

The kiwi and penguin exhibits were the stand out affairs here. The characters of some of the penguins were entertaining. Watching the kiwis interact was also enjoyable. I was hoping to see more on NZ marine life, but saw alot of overseas fish instead.

Hi, we had no problems with size, group ranging from 110kgs to 80kgs. Very accommodating instructor ensuring we were comfortable and well briefed. Take a camera for some great close ups of the sharks. Enjoy!
