Brilliant display of all sorts of machinery, household appliances etc for all ages to appreciate. Great place older visitors to remember and fascinating for the younger generations to see how things were done in the "olden days"!

Great place for the kids to learn about the things their parents and grandparents grew up with. Lots of fun was had by our 5 year old using the telephones, the old game tables, learning about sunlight, household items and lots more. Mum enjoyed the...More

Excellent place to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Stuff from generations past that many will remember and which will rekindle fond memories. Run by volunteers, who are all knowledgeable and willing to spend time talking to you. Exhibits are almost all hands on, no “do...More

Kids (teen and tween) loved it. Adults loved it. Great value. Helpful volunteers. Lots to look and and "play with" in a compact space. We went just after it opened one morning which meant it wasn't crowded and we'd had a good opportunity to have...More

It would have been "value for money" if it was free to get in. Lots of screaming kids running around. Stairs to walk up so if elderly or frail you will only see half of it. I suppose it took just 10-15 minutes to see...More
