This is the hands on museum to beat all interactive ones! This place is just fun for the whole family. Our small family group covered the spectrum of generations and there was something for everyone to play with. Older folks will love the trip down memory lane and youngsters will be scrambling between exhibits to experience first hand how things... More

This place is magic. It starts with the people who run it - you can feel their enthusiasm and love for the place - and flows on to the multiple displays, working bits of machinery and general atmosphere. You just want to go home and start inventing after a visit. Only sad thing is - this place is hardly ever... More

Step back in time to show your grandchildren how we used to live without technology, great for any ages but even little children will love it as they can touch and play with everything. ours didn't want to leave after 2 hours and neither did we, great staff friendly and helpful

Really enjoyed visit and history. So many things to see and some interactive. Friends had children and they loved the shop with the old fashioned till and sitting in the vintage car

Kids loved this technical museum with hands on features. Plenty of electrical experiments for them. Also many historical artifacts.

Highly recommend this museum... nice to be able to let kids of all ages play with the exhibits and learn a bit about science and technology. Very nostalgic for older generations. Really well set up. Just fascinating.

A Museum well worth the time spent. Takes one back to many aspects of earlier times when life was not so easy. Friendly hosts who willingly explained the workings of various exhibits. Recommended - would be good place to visit on a wet day.

My Husband and I visited here while staying in Hastings. We thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the old and interesting things. Seeing it all brought back a lot of memories of various equipment that my Mum and Dad used back in the 1950s-1960s. There was also a lot of hands on activities which made it more interesting. Very well set... More

Took 3 grandchildren aged 11, 10 and 9 years. They all had a great time trying out all the "old" things. Interesting collection of things but they make you seem old when you can remember having them at home!!
