This place was recommended by family who live locally. Really glad we took the time to have a look at it. Covers the history of the local area including the Maori people. Also encompasses an art gallery showcasing local artists.

This is a fairly standard local museum. As others have said. It has all the local historical artefacts that you could need. Lots of local history and art. It’s quite educational. Currently there is the Da Vinci exhibition which is fairly cool.
