This street is very different that any other street in Auckland. I love the big variety of shops and cultures. Very colorful and unusual as well. It is definitely worth strolling around if you have the chance.

K road is interesting with an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants. It is on the Auckland city bus inner link, although we chose to walk all the way from Ponsonby to the Museum via K Road.

K-Road is looking more disheveled these days, I can't understand why because it's in a great spot at the top of Auckland, and could have been on the tourists' "must do" list. We went as a couple on a Sunday morning, to St Kevins Arcade....More

During the day the street is a lively shopping experience with an eclectic range of shops. In the evening and night it comes alive with the smell of food and sights of revellers bringing joy and colour to the area.

Had no idea what was what having just arrived from Adelaide at about 8 p.m. This road was literally around the corner from the Hotel as we ventured out for dinner. Seemed busy enough and plenty of eateries, so away we went. At no stage...More

Yes, K'Rd is slightly grotty, but that is part of it's charm. St. Kevin's Arcade is an architectural gem full of interesting shops, restaurants, and clubs (The Wine Cellar down below epitomizes K'Rd grotty chic and Whammy Bar is famed for good live music) and...More
