Great views of Auckland Harbour

Great site to visit for panoramic views of Auckland Harbour. The monument area is neatly kept and there are not too many steps for the older traveller.

Everytime we travel to auckland we always stop here and no matter how many times we come to this place, it's always a great experience. Overlooking the entire city, it's a picture perfect scenery. TIP: there are few parking areas at the top but really tight and almost always full since the place is often busy no matter what day... More

The lookout has a great 360 view of Auckland. It is very cold up here and parking is terrible. I would suggest parking and hiking the 10 minutes to the top. Take a camera!

The Tree is no longer there, but stroll up to visit the monument. On a lovely day, meander along a path and pass by cows and sheep eating the grass. You can also drive up.

I had an amazing time at Cornwall Park, especially the walk up to One Tree Hill. It took about 20 min to walk up to the top, and it was well worth the time and effort since the view from the top was amazing. I was able to see Sky Tower and the city and spectacular view of the park... More

One Tree Hill is a popular spot in Cornwall Park, it offers a panoramic view of the city of Auckland. It is accessible by car, all the way yo the top, or you can get some exercise and hike up the hill. It is very windy at the top, be prepared;) Jon

We drove rather than walked as it was soooo cold. Still great views all around. Great to see the plantings of the prospective new tree for the summit. Cant wait to see what is chosen. This is one of Aucklands best landmarks and a must see on any visitors list.

Nice one to visit if you are a tourist. Make sure you have an extra layer on a cold day as the wind is pretty strong up there. Great views of Auckland from the top and some stone art work around the hill which is very stone aged (done by kids i imagine)

Took the family here after dark. Great city scape views. A nice quiet place. Watch out for the wild sheep and runners.
