This was a pretty park that we wandered through during our walk around Auckland.

We started on the University of Auckland side and walked through the park to the Art Museum.

Flowers were in bloom and tall, mature trees were nice to see throughout the park. In the center, there was a grouping of cannons next to a small memorial to veterans along with a statue of Queen Victoria.

If it wasn’t for the off and on sprinkles then we would have spent more time here since they had lots of benches all around the park.

Albert Park can be categorised as Central Park - Auckland version, right in the centre of the city with a great view of the city and Auckland Sky Tower.
It's a lovely walk around the park. Also, it's a very short walk through Auckland Art Gallery, then Lorne Street on which can be viewed as a Korea Town.
It's a lovely place to relax, picnic, or a small family meeting.

This is a great park for various reasons. First, it's a great garden and generally has a wonderful display of flowers. It's groomed to perfection, thanks to Auckland Council's dedicated team. The flowers change with the season, so it's always a surprise.
It's also a great place for families and friends to meet. It's where people have graduation pictures taken and also enjoy lunch of dry days.
It's a great place for some exercise. You can climb up and down steep steps and enjoy flat areas while doing a circuit. It's a great place for a lunchtime walk!

A lovely little park close to the city. The art gallery is in the corner. There are formal flower beds, interesting trees, statues old and new, a bandstand and some old guns. It is quiet and peaceful and a nice break during a busy day.

This is a lovely park in the middle of a busy city. It's a nice escape and has plenty of benches around so you can sit and linger. Locals bring their lunches here as well. We enjoyed spending time here to relax after doing a lot of walking.

We came here as part of a city walking tour and have it on our to do list for when we return to NZD. It's a lovely and clean park in the center of the city (with public restrooms). Lot of shaded areas and benches strewn about. Not all places have ramps if you have a wheelchair or stroller/pushcar though.

Albert park is a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a bit of a hike upwards but the trees are beautiful and the grounds well kept (no garbage anywhere). Would have appreciated more benches in the area to sit on.

I found this park jogging from the Sheraton 4 Points and it was a pleasant place to jog but also returned later to sit and take in the peace and quiet. There are a few historical states, one of Queen Victoria. It's just a nice quiet place to relax in the middle of the city.

This well maintained park is near the Art Museum and University of Auckland. In here there are quite a few places to sit and relax. There are some nice statues and sculptures. We enjoyed the view of the many nearby towers including the clock tower of the university and the Sky Tower.
