Came across the tram by accident on Sunday. It only operates now on Sundays and Bank Holidays, and because of road works can only operate for a shortened part of the route. Driver was fantastic, loved the 93 year old tram and cost a dollar for all day.

Rode the tram today. Discovered it almost by accident. Fare was a gold con as part of the road where the track is situated is undergoing redevelopment work. Great value for money and very friendly and passionate staff.

This short tram trip would be great for the kids and is informative and fun for the adults too. For only $2 it's well worth taking 20 minutes out of your day, then take a look around the fish markets and enjoy lunch at one of the many places to eat.

If you like old trams which I do, it is superb. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their trams and the local area, driving smoothly and giving a good commentary. The circuit is round a changing developing area. The art work on the tramshed is worth a look. Children seemed to be enjoying the ride and at $2 per person or $5 for a family all day ticket, it is not expensive. A must for the tram enthusiast and a pleasant relaxing ride for everyone else.…
