- AucklandWizAuckland, New Zealand1,621 contributionsCommercial Bay Nicely DoneWe came for an afternoon wander to experience Commercial Bay for the first time. We were impressed with their retail although most are doing it hard due to Covid. The stores are beautifully fitted out and the staff in stores eager to help. We had dinner in the fancy food court area which we were impressed with. This is not your typical run of the mill food court and the offerings are delicious and reasonably priced. It was well patronised and it had a nice air to it. There were proper bars and restaurants also that I stumbled upon as I made my way through the maze to the bathrooms that we are yet to try. One feature that lets the overall look of the place down was the tiles used on the floor in the main area. Already marked etc. and obviously not cleanable- somebody made a really big booboo in choice of flooring. Overall it was a good positive experience though and we plan to meet friends there this week. .Visited November 2020Written November 20, 2020
- AcinetoAuckland Central, New Zealand20,073 contributionsShops and FoodThe commercial Bay shopping mall is located just outside the Britomart Train station in the CDB. There are stores and food outlets on most of the floors and entrances on most sides of the building. There is also a covered walkway that connects it to the Downtown Parking Lot. I normally come around here for the food. There are two options, Harbour Eats or One Queens Rise. Harbour eats is more like a food court with a larger selection of stalls to go from. One Queens Rise has a few restaurants with their own areas and is located on the Quay Street side and overlooks the water. Both are nice in their own way and you are able to just walk through the areas to look around. It is a nice new mall with a few options to look at.Visited October 2020Written October 15, 2020

Food court is the highlight just like being in an Asian street but under cover huge range of food to chose from and all delicious.Visited June 2021Traveled as a coupleWritten June 6, 2021

- LeanneBChristchurch, New Zealand80 contributionsVery pricey shopping, food is limitedVery Asian inspired food court, hard to find something the kids liked. Shopping was very upmarket and not for our everyday New Zealander. Pricey but good toilets if you looking for one :)Visited July 2022Written July 8, 2022
- jacquitohcAuckland Central, New Zealand766 contributionsWelcome Upmarket shopping lifestyle experienceCommercial Bay Auckland - a new destination for upmarket shopping experience, in downtown CBD, is very different from before when it was Downtown Shopping Centre. Newly built, it has stylish surroundings, quite a corporate feel, delightful views of the harbour from certain levels, there were places to luxuriously pamper, elegant stores to visit, aromas & flavours of tasty food from around the world. Like busy food-streets in South East Asia with delectable morsels - the well-populated food court, was very busy when we were at Harbour Eats. I have gait/walking challenges (stroke); I wear a legbrace. Style, Design, fine and casual dining, trendy buzzing bars, flagship stores, Commercial Bay shopping complex has something for everyone, great way to catch-up for drinks, coffee, sundowners & watch the world go by. A welcome addition to the CBD, part of the Britomart downtown shopping area.Visited July 2020Written June 10, 2021
- Cam TBirkenhead, New Zealand399 contributionsExcellent choicesThis was our second visit to the food court on level 2. It is a great experience and wonderful way to catch up for lunch or dinner with friends because everyone has different tastes in foods We can all pick whatever we like and there is so much on offer! It’s like a fancy buffet! Highly recommend the South American oven for empanadas, sunny town for scrumptious dumplings, bao and noodle soups! For desserts - The Greek place has divine baklava and Turkish delight!Visited May 2021Traveled with friendsWritten May 16, 2021
