My sister and I walked a while on the dark side of Auckland. This was more a murder and mystery tour than a ghost tour with only a couple of hauntings mentioned. A very knowledgeable and entertaining guide and some fantastic sites and stories more than made up for a lack of spooks however to the extent that I rate... More

My partner and I took this tour on the last night of our trip, we thought it would be a great way to end our time in New Zealand, and it was!! Personally, I found it terrifying, and it was a great way to learn about the history of Maori culture (and also how to make your very own shrunken... More

Great stuff! We had booked a cruise that was cancelled earlier that day. What to do with our evening? We've done ghost walks in cities like New York and Vancouver. We didn't know if lovely Auckland had a dark side, but a quick search brought us here! Mr. Te Oka Toia fit us in despite short notice, and his tour... More

I was absolutely blown away by this tour. I went into it a bit skeptical as I have done ghost tours in the past and was not overly impressed, but I was amazed at how good this tour was! I am really impressed at how professional and knowledgeable the tour guide Te Oka was. I learnt so much and had... More

if you love history, especially horrific historic events, give this walk a try. as a scare and history enthusiast I was very pleased to see auckland has it's very own ghost tour I was stunned to know that auckland, although a young city, has already has it's fair share of murder and misery. I honestly didn't know! it's a nice... More

This was a great thing to do in the evening if you're looking for something to shake things up. Besides great restaurants and bars, there aren't many fun tourist activities to do past 5 o'clock. The tour was much more informative than I presumed about the haunted past of Auckland. The tour uncovered the creepy past from Maori times before... More

My Husband and I have done a lot of Ghost tours in the past, this one was one of the best we have done. We booked the tour on a Thursday for a Friday night and were surprised and delighted to discover we were the only people on the tour. Our host, Te Oka, had a clear knowledge and passion... More

This tour is so good and interesting that my daughter and I have done it twice. It is a fantastic way to see Auckland's largest cemetery - Waikumete Cemetery, and hear about its history. Te Oka and his partner, Jamie, make the tour interesting and very enjoyable. Highly recommended and we can't wait to do their city tour....Thanks for a... More
