Not great
Mar 2021 • Family
Scitech really needs a face lift. $19 for entry fee is quite expensive for what is inside. Wouldn’t recommend visiting here to friends

A great place for curious little minds
Nov 2020
We have two kids aged 5 and 2.5 years. The one thing common between them (and with most kids) is their bounding and relentless energy, and limitless curiosity. Scitech offered us an opportunity to satiate their appetites in full measure ;-)

The centre offers a range of hands-on experiments, live demonstrations, shows played at regular intervals in their custom-built theatres - one shaped like a dome, and arts and craft activity centres.

A must visit place for locals and visitors alike.

TIPS:
- Book online and in advance. We had people who were turned back as the centre was full on the day we visited.
- The place is easily accessible via public transport - two minutes walk from 'City West' train station.
- Whilst there is a dining area, there is no cafeteria as such. You can get meals from the downstairs cafeteria located in the main shopping area within which Scitech is located.
- We reached around 1:00 a.m. and departed around 3:00 p.m. and that too because the kids were drained with all the numerous activities.

Good place to learn about science
Jul 2020
Scitech is for kids, it's a good place to have fun while learning about science. Now that the government is pushing kids to study STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and maths) it's a good place to introduce kids to science. I've seen a few of these institutions, and I'd say scitech is one of the best.

Introducing kids to science by having fun
Feb 2020
My son loves Scitech, he went there every time he went to Perth. It's a great way to introduce kids to science, with lots of intereactive exhibits. It's fun. If Scitech aims to get kids interested in science, then it has certainly succeeded with my son. He is now a lawyer, not a scientist or doctor, but he did exceptional ly well in science..

Kids fun zone
Feb 2020
I love Scitech because it is very interactive for the kids, there is so much for them to do, it is a place where they're not told if you break it you buy it. Right near public transport. The kids will love the train ride in.

BEST PLACE EVER!!
Feb 2020
LOVED THIS PLACE!!! So interactive, and the shows were extremely entertaining. My 4 year old actually asked to go back a second time during our 2 week stay in Perth because she just loved it all. Parents can also be involved in the activities or there is a section at the front of SciTech just for the little ones to have fun. Highly recommend going to see the puppet show and the SoCool shows that they have on, the scientists are extremely passionate about their subject and encourage questions.

A little disappointing to be honest
Feb 2020 • Family
I think that Scitech is a fabulous way of introducing children (and anybody, actually) to the joys of science and the importance of this discipline in daily life. I must say though I was disappointed at the lack of things to do, and the high cost to visit. The shows were really good and the main area had some fun practical activities for kids. I thought the VR room/display was a terrible waste of space as there was little to do in there. I would not be hurrying back to be honest
