There's something for everyone here, ranging from young kids to adults. It's a very sophisticated exhibition and the children's sections are particularly well-developed. It's well worth a visit for families.

Son is a surveyor and the mapping expo kept him occupied so me abd and my 3yr old grandie got to play with everything without being told to be careful or supervised. :)

I spent a full day with my 5yo and 3yo kids at Scitech. We loved it! Lots of fun, plenty of things to do and the staff is great. Loved the Puppet Show and the Math & Explosion. A Must watch. We will certainly return.

There are far too many exhibits that are out of service or malfunctioning and the ones that are working inevitably have too many people using them. They should bring the exhibits up to scratch or lower the entry charge to match the below par presentation...More

This is the most interactive learning “museum” I’ve ever been to. It’s absolutely jam packed with things to do for kids (and adults). And almost every exhibit worked, unlike many places I’ve visited where 50% do not. Only drawback is that the signs we followed...More

Scitech has terrific changing exhibits, small plays, science demonstrations. Great CGI exhibit and the space dome is well done. Main issue is parking don’t park on the street or let your ticket run out, the Perth city charge like wounded bulls.

I have been coming to Scitech since I was in primary school and still love bringing my kids here! Even in my 30's I learn so much, and so do the kids.

We visit regularly and our kids love Scitech. So many different activities, you can easily spend 3- 4 hours if you also see the shows. There is a separate area for younger children. And there is an exhibition area which changes regularly. There are vending...More

Hi everybody , We will be in perth from 4/6/09 - 8/6/09 and i know the duration is a bit short so i have to plan it very well. My itenerary is as follows : 4/6/09 - Reach perth airport ard 3pm. - Transfer to hotel ( Ibis Hotel ) by taxi. - Visit Kings Park since shopping is closed or maybe you guys have any better ideas. - Have dinner at northbridge 5/6/09 - Rent a car from Budget and drive to Caversham wildlife park ( 8.30am to 10.30am ) - Head down to Swan valley for lunch...More

Shops are open until 9.00pm in the suburbs on Thursday 4th - the day you arrive. You could always get to Leederville or Subiaco easily by train if you wished. Abalone is out of season in WA in June but Tasmanian is available all year. You could ask at Kailis in Leederville if you get there on the 4th, or in Fremantle when you are there. You will be busy on the 7th. I would drop the Bell Tower and Tour until the 8th and just do AQWA/Hillarys Boat Harbour and SciTech (!). TBH each one can...More

2nd Jun (Mon): Harbourtown 3rd Jun (Tues): Kings' Park/ SciTech >>>>>>>>>>>>>> I would combine these into a single day. No human could find enough at harbour town to warrant setting aside a whole day there and what a total waste of such a short holiday. Spend an hour there then walk from there to Scitech. After Scitech call a taxi - if you have an iPhone download the Swan Taxis ap and use it to order a maxi can - to kings park in time for...More

Day 2 - I would plan to leave straight after lunch and allow for 4 - 4.5 hours - if you stop along the way at a petrol station just before Bunbury on left side for quick toilet stop and brief break (after 2 hrs travelling), then continue to Busselton (50 mins) and stop for half hour at Busselton Jetty atthe end of Queen St which I think you would enjoy (30 mins) playgrounds and jetty on foreshore of Geographe Bay. tripadvisor.com.au/Attraction_Review-g261672… Allow another 1 hour travel to...More
