Lovely gardens

A visit in mid November is superb, with most of the spring flowers in bloom. The huge purple blossom of the Jacaranda trees are a sight that never fails to amaze.

Having lived in Perth for well over thirty years today was my visit to the Supreme Court Gardens. It is a cool haven under the trees on a warm day - the gardens are immaculately kept - enter the Supreme Court Gardens (near Barrack Square and the Bell Tower) and walk through the paths upto St Georges Terrace via the... This is actually a lovely spot to wander through with some very interesting sculptures - a good place to have a coffee if you are walking along St Georges Terrace.

It is probaly not something you would plan to visit in your itinerary. But if you do happen to have a stroll in the city you would be very pleasantly surprised how pretty it is and how well it is maintained.

Your in the city and need a break from the shopping... then head down here. There is plenty of shade and its only a short walk. Also not far to continue down to the Swan river.

These are well maintained, and nice enough gardens outside the Supreme Court. A peasant place for a little walk if you're passing by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit them.

We parked in the car park by Swan River and walked to the Bell Tower and the CBD and discovered these stunning gardens along the way. Another example of beautifully maintained gardens right in the heart of the city!
