Twelve of the 18 bells in this tower came from London's St.-Martin-in-the-Fields church in Trafalgar Square as a Bicentenary gift to the people of Western Australia in 1988. Originally cast in the 13th century and recast in the 16th and 18th centuries, they were rung at the homecoming of James Cook after his voyage of discovery in 1771, after the Battle of El Alamein in 1942 and at the coronation of every British monach since George II in 1727.

We were not sure our friend would be able to come with the stairs

What an interesting place and for the bells to end up. Go to the top and view everything in between you will not be disappointed with the history and views.

The Bell tower looked interesting but we enjoyed this more than we thought we would. We managed to time our visit for the interactive session in which we actually had a chance to ring the bells - and got a certificate to prove it. Great views of the Swan River and Perth from the Tower.

Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you had the opportunity to chime the bells! It's a unique experience and one that people always remember. There is also days where our Bell Ringers ring the bells for one hour - every Monday, Thursday and Sunday at 12 noon! More

My husband and I weren't sure what we were walking into as we were just wandering around Perth. The bells were amazing and our guide, Howard was very knowledgeable, even showing us the the aerial view of the bells. My husband was admiring the very old mechanical clock so the lady downstairs even let him wind it up. Overall, a... More

I live in Perth , The original plan was a bell tower twice the height / size. average at best.. May be worth a walk by but I would not pay the entrance fee.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Hopefully one day you can make it inside the tower and see what it is all about. The observation deck on level 6 offers 360 degree views, with the other 5 levels consisting of ancient bells. The public can even have a go at chiming the 17th century bells! More

This building is a very good example of modern architecture. The view from inside and outside are very good. It is conveniently place next to the city centre

Thank you for your review. During that time the area around the Bell Tower was being re-developed. It finished in October of last year and it looks amazing! The Love Locks can be purchased from our website, and its meaning is to lock your love forever at the Bell Tower. Most famous in China and France. Hopefully you can come... More

Wandering around the new Elisabeth Quay area, we decided to finally climb up the bell tower after wondering for years what the view would be like. Well the views over the river and Perth City were great, and we also learned about bell ringing and bits about Perth's history.

I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Bell tower. Our tour host Michael was very informative and made the ringing of the bells loads of fun. It's a must while in Perth. The views are beautiful.

Got to see the Bell ringers in action although I did not get a chance to chime those historic bells myself. Here again the 360 degrees views of the City and Swan River were spectacular. Not to be missed.
