About
The Bell Tower is one of the most unique things to see in Perth. The available tours give you a fascinating insight into the one of the most unique facilities in the world! Have a go at chiming a historic bell and learn about the ancient art of bell ringing. Your tour guide will also present to you a souvenir chiming certificate. The Bell Tower is also home to the ANZAC Bell. Watch and listen to 6,500kg Bell ring at 12pm, (1pm on ANZAC Day - 25 April). Twelve of the 18 bells in this Tower came from London's St. Martin-in-the-Fields church in Trafalgar Square as a Bicentenary gift to the people of Western Australia in 1988. Originally cast in the 13th century and recast in the 16th and 18th centuries, they were rung at the homecoming of James Cook after his voyage of discovery in 1771, after the Battle of El Alamein in 1942 and at the coronation of every British monarch since George II in 1727. Book the Bell Tower Experience Tour, the ANZAC Bell Tour or the Romance Package.

Interesting place to visit we paid for the family package to ring the bells/tour. We brought our 3 kids (8,5,1) we don’t recommend bringing a baby. The tour was great, the tour guide was very accommodating and helped the kids ring the bells. The view from the top is stunning. Elevator and stair options

Thanks Jeff for the tour! This was a great bit of affordable fun and a history lesson too. Hearing the bells in the city, it was nice to know that I had been able to add to that. Jeff was entertaining and well-informed to present the history as well as demonstrate the bell-ringing. The groups ranged from about 10-70+ yo and we all had a go! Another unique experience that you can't get anywhere else in Australia or many spots around the world. The observation deck gives beautiful Swan River views and the electronic carillon plays some great songs. Great fun!

Took the quick 30 minute tour of the Bell Tower the other day. It was a beautiful day for it, with loads of sunshine, making the views from the 6th level quite spectacular.
Jeff, our knowledgeable guide, spoke to us about the history of various bells housed in the tower, and some history behind the tower itself, and then we got to ring a bell, which, apparently, is quite unique in the world, and generally reserved for people who are members of a bell ringing association.
We were able to go up to the 6th floor and out onto the decking for views and photos. We then watched, and heard, the ANZAC bell ring out at 12 noon. The stats on this bell are quite amazing.
All in all, if you’ve got a spare 40 odd minutes, pop on in and learn a bit about this icon of Perth.

Hi RicksWorld, thank you for your 5 star review! This is some great feedback for us to pass on to our tour guides and especially to Jeff. Sounds like you visited at the perfect time - to be able to chime the famous bells yourself and then witness the impressive 6,500kg ANZAC Bell ring at midday. Come back and visit us again!

Walking from my accomodation in Northbridge towards Elizabeth Quay I saw this tall glass and steel spire and the two copper plates on its side in the shape of sails and was quite impressed. Although I didn't have much time, I bought a general entry ticket, which allowed me to go up by lift to level 6 with the open air observation deck. Unfortunately the view gets blocked by several much taller skyscrapers around it.

The general entry permits to also go to the other levels with the ANZAC Bell on level 5, the close up view of the St.Martin-in-the Fields bells on level 4, the photo gallery on level 3. For a full experience one has to buy the 'Bell Tower Experience'-ticket, which brings one closer to the famous Swan Bells, a donation from the United Kingdom. Included is an interactive demonstration and a souvenir bell chiming cetificate.

The Bells of St Martins-in-the Fields in London now hang in the Bell Tower, on the Swan River in Perth. The London bells have now been joined by the ANZAC Bell, which is rung every day at lunch time. The ANZAC Bell was founded here in WA to commemorate the end of World War I. There is a long story behind the Swan Bells; the Bell Tower is well worth a visit.

The Swan Bells hung in St Martins-in- the Fields Anglican Church for 200 years before they were reinstalled in Perth. It's scarcely believable, but its true. Now, there's aslo a 500 ton ANZAC Bell, founded in WA. You see and hear the Swan Bells being un, it's quite an experience.

Couples
We visited the bell tower a couple of days ago and did the ANZAC Bell tour. It was one of my partner’s birthday presents as she loves anything to do with the ANZAC’S.
We were guided by Sylvia who was very knowledgeable and has a true passion for what she does.
We both absolutely loved every minute of the tour and learned quite a bit on the way.
Couldn’t believe that we could actually ring the bells and seeing the giant six ton ANZAC bell ring at midday was amazing.
Thank you and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

This is an iconic modern building housing the historic bells from St Martin in the Fields London, these old bells are still in use today as a centre of excellence for the ancient art of change bell ringing as carried out in churches across the UK since the 1700s . This is all thanks to the passion of a few inspired people who got the tower built and brought the bells halfway round the world to make this unique statement of old traditional art and new architecture. The building is is stunning the tour excellent, and if you get chance to ring a bell do so, it’s harder than it looks! Best time to visit is around midday when the huge 6 tonne ANZAC bell is tolled to commemorate those who were lost fighting for freedom in the WW1 and WW2

Bell Tower is a magical place to get married. Our wedding went without a hitch and the staff helped up a lot. There was not a single problem and they tried to work with us, to make sure we have the experience that we wanted. The view is just gorgeous throughout the day and once lights come on, even better at night. We were able to bring our food and drink which made it easier for us to choose what we love.

I could not be happier that we got married at Bell Tower.
