The Perth Mint has just been refurbished. It looks great from the outside, as yet I have not been into the new section.

It was the first time we'd been to a working mint. The tour was interesting. To see the largest coin ever made was fascinating. Also to pick up a gold bar to feel it's weight was a bit of fun. It was also interesting to see a gold bar poured out and see its properties. Well worth the tour fee.

Really enjoyed our time here. Our guide was very very enthusiastic and shared some interesting stories. The gold pour was a highlight and would recommend anyone visiting Perth to pay a visit

Interesting place, you get to see the pouring of a gold bar in a demonstration. Nice historic building guides give a lot of good humoured information.
