If in Perth you should visit Kings Park. There are so many different aspects to the park ranging from children's play areas, cafes, plenty of open space, extremely well maintained native flora and views of the city of Perth are that are magnificent.

Best view of Perth city day or night time. Walk the many bush trails or lay a blanket in the shade of giant trees over looking the swan river. I always find peace when I come here

What a special concert under the stars on a balmy evening with loved ones. Great music,coffee,food & atmosphere. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the great outdoors of WA's capital city. Kings Park, top spot for locals & visitors to enjoy.

Yes, there is a free 935 bus from the city which drops you off right at the park and the same number bus returns you to the city.
