Great views of Perth & Swan River; lovely spot for a coffee and/or meal (café style or more formal eating at the magnificent Frazer's restaurant), excellent 'free' walking tours.

This is a very well kept area with multiple things to explore, the glass bridge walk is great and the play area on the other side of park can entertain the kids for hours

The park is huge, you could walk around there for hours. And it is very beautiful and well maintained. Especially the view of Perth is stunning. Make sure to see it not only by day, but by night as well.
