Fabulous day bridge climb and zip line experience. The dreary weather didn't dampen guide Ollie's humour or guide Annikas enthusiasm. Received this for my birthday and highly recommend this experience to see Perth from another angle. Definitely doing a night time climb and zip line next!

This really had been a bonus for Perth. Apart from its majestic appearance on representing two swans it provides a wide and safe platform for people wanting to access Burswood from East Perth. The football fans use this en-masse on game days.

I'm a regular user as this new bridge as it allows us to have casual walks around the bridges. We walk across the nearby railway bridge and Matagarup.

This bridge can be lit up some nights and provides a fantastic sight.

THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!
This was an unbelievable experience and would not have been the same without our guides Sam & Jack.
Myself, my partner and my parents decided to book this whilst visiting from the UK as a break from planning our upcoming Wedding, and was so much better than what we thought.

Free lockers provided for all your things, they talk you through everything such as safety/harnesses before and puts you at ease (esp if you’re nervous as I was terrified at this point)
Really good to stop before we climb the bridge to watch others zip lining down too😃

They take photos all the way along that are complementary - they will put effort in with this depending on the pics you want and all the way up plus on the glass area and they have really great sense of humour and loads of info !!! Obviously about Matagarup Bridge and Perth and surrounds for those who are visiting.

I was so scared but Sam and Jack helped to calm me throughout and when getting ready to zip down too otherwise no idea if I’d have been done the zip line!!! 😂 they also video you off the platform too.

There’s no pressure to be hiking at super speed up the bridge so don’t expect to be out of breath or it to be very physically demanding. but just a focus on the experience and having a good time with the stunning views of Perth.

You can tell these people genuinely love what they do and want you to have the best experience so I’d say give it a try peeps 😬💖

We will be back in November after the wedding with the rest of the groovy gang family 😂

Thanks so much guys 💖

Matagarup Bridge is a pedestrian bridge crossing the Swan River. This suspension bridge connects East Perth to Burswood, and it's a useful way to get to and from Optus Stadium. The bridge's unusual structure is quite spectacular. Walking from East Perth to Burswood takes around 20 minutes. "Matagarup" is a Nyoongar word., the name was decided in consultation with the traditional owners. It means "place where the river is one leg deep."

It was a long time coming, especially with the fiasco of the failed construction by a Malaysian company and reconstruction being completed by a local construction company on a tight deadline.

Despite this, and ongoing maintenance to complete it in a tighter schedule, this is a magnificent bridge and design.

It's a superb addition on which to link East Perth to Burswood. It especially looks fantastic at night when it's lit up

Visited Stadium Park area on Saturday 05/12/20 & Matagarup Bridge is certainly eye-catching with it's unusual modern design & looking extremely solid / bold in design with it's black & white finish.

A pleasure to walk across & worth visiting for all ages. Some interesting Info before entering the bridge & photos taken during construction.
Pleasurable walkways to the side of the bridge.

Matagarup Bridge connects East Perth with Optus Stadium and the Burswood peninsula. Four hundred metres bank to bank with the central arch 72 metres above the water. At the East Perth end there is a motion activated music feature.

Had a great time here today. All the team are fab, Jack was our guide and knew all the groups first names, very friendly and helped put people at ease. For someone who doesn't like heights I felt quite comfortable. If you haven't done this yet would 100% recommend it's fab!

I booked this tour to celebrate my husband's "significant" birthday. We all had an amazing time. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and the view from the top of the bridge was fantastic! He certainly had a birthday to remember. For anyone nervous about the climb, don't be. I felt safe and secure the whole time. 10/10

Our tour guides (Ben and Ben) made our day! I was visiting from Wales and knew I had to climb the bridge - it was a fantastic experience and they provided us with so much information. The view from the top platform was incredible and the zip wire was so much fun. I felt in safe hands through. Thanks boys! Would definitely recommend.
