Glad to see something like this has survived, what a great thing for the town. Plenty of shelter from the rain, the only thing was it was difficult to hear the movie when it rained and the inside speakers needed turned on or up.

A truly amazing experience! Sit back on a deckchair (maybe bring a cushion!) and enjoy a movie under the stars with the added excitement of low-flying planes, bats, and geckos scurrying across the screen!

I was transported back in time while visiting the Sun Pictures Cinema. It's one of the iconic buildings in Broome and it's awesome that they are preserving it. The seats are not very comfortable, but a cushion would make a difference. A very enjoyable experience!

I loved this experience, it was so unique but my sister doesn't like bats or lizards or sand flies so unfortunately for her it was not an enjoyable experience. In fact we had to leave part way through which was a shame. I still recommend it for people who want to experience something different

The chairs are old but quirky. Prices are comparable and all the snacks and popcorn you want are there. The screen is huge and it feels so good to be watching a movie outdoors. Bats fly around oversea and there are lizards on the screen. But this all adds up to an unforgettable experience. Truly original and great fun.

Love the atmosphere of Sun pictures. Undercover and outdoor seating available. You are allowed to bring hot food in with you and can also purchase from the snack bar. Parking is avilable for free out the front. Remember to bring the insect repellent and maybe a cushion for comfort.

Nice way to see a movie in a deck chair in the moonlight- it does not rain much so it is a safe bet and unique

100 year old outdoor theatre showing current movie releases. Typical movie treats available. Seats are slightly uncomfortable but true to the setting
