The Whale watching tour was an absolute standout. Cameron made us feel very welcome from the minute he greeted us until he dropped us back off on dry land. The catamaran is just lovely and you have plenty of room onboard. The canapés were plentiful and they serve drinks on board which are very reasonably priced.

Cameron and his crew made us feel very welcome and his knowledge of the whales was very impressive.

We saw numerous whales who put a show on for us, they are just beautiful creatures.

The afternoon ended off witnessing the most beautiful sunset.

Would highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

Pick up from the hotel, a short coach ride to the beach and you are off on a whale spotting excursion that is great for young and old alike. Skipper Mike, Alex and Cath were fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly and keep you informed, fed and safe throughout the trip. The boat is well equipped with all the safety gear, ample space to walk around, toilet and a bar. We set off to search for the humpbacks and within a few minutes under power their plooms were spotted. If you have never seen these incredible leviathans up close and personal you haven't lived. It was easy to understand why Cath our marine biologist was so passionate about the whales and you get a real humble feeling when you get to share the sea and a moment with these magnificent animals. Listening to the excited conversations of our fellow whale watchers was a true indication that all were on a high and just glad to be there.
We are truly lucky to live in this great country and even blessed to get to share it with animals such as these. Go whale watching with Mike, Alex and Cath and get a new appreciation for our friends of the sea. Tours with Absolute Ocean Charters are bookable on line or give the guys a call, set something up and be prepared for a truly incredible experience.

We were so lucky to have a really calm ocean to head out to the whale watching area. On the way seeing turtles dolphins and sea snakes was a fantastic bonus. The whales themselves took a little time but in the end they came very close to the boat and showed how magnificent and graceful they are in the water. The hosts were attentive friendly and helpful, and the skipper was very knowledgeable with some facts given with overwhelming everyone. Thank you for an experience I will never forget.

I guess we were spoilt when we did the whale watching tour in July - I thought I was booking the same again, as I read whale sightings are guaranteed through September (but it was probably pushing it on the very last day of the month!). This is really a bit of a ‘nothing’ tour in comparison, the catamaran doesn’t go far from shore and there’s very little wildlife to be seen. We did sight a couple of cute snubnose dolphins, thank goodness, otherwise the trip would have been a complete disappointment. If you’re happy paying $110 to sit on a boat just off shore with a bunch of people you don’t know for three hours into the sunset, this is for you! Remember to BYO and be prepared to just chill out!! For us, we were hoping for a re-run of our amazing afternoon with the whales in July, so can’t score highly. However, the crew on the boat were lovely, and the description on the website is probably right in that there is just a chance you might see wildlife - unfortunately the link we booked on promoted the trip under whale watching which is why we were disappointed and when I emailed to check I didn’t get a response. Will definitely be back for the real deal again next July!!

We booked the trip the day before hoping to catch a glimpse of some wildlife and especially the Snubfin dolphins. Things got off to a great start when a whale appeared while we were waiting to depart. Sea snakes, Bottlenose dolphins, a variety of birds and flying fish kept us occupied while we looked for the Snubbies. The Captain gave us some essential information about Roebuck Bay and the wildlife and the crew provided tea and scones. Snubbies were then sighted and we had excellent viewing as they repeatedly demonstrated their "spit fishing" technique. Even seeing them for a few seconds would have been special but they were in close proximity for a good half an hour until we set off in search of turtles. Some big, friendly flatback turtles provided opportunities for some photos and the boom net provided the opportunity to cool down in the water. Brilliant service, professionalism and viewing. Highly recommend for all visitors.

Our family of five had a fantastic afternoon onboard the Ballena. We saw three young bulls not far off shore and they kept us entertained with breaching, rolling and circling the boat. We then saw several very large bulls who also came up very close. The crew were very friendly and we enjoyed learning more about whales. My teenagers also appreciated all of the food. Definitely a really worthwhile tour that I would highly recommend to anyone!

We had the most wonderful afternoon on Friday. The staff on board were all delightful. They went above and beyond to cater to our daughter’s specific needs and made her feel so comfortable. It was a fantastic experience I shall be recommending to anyone heading up here. Thank you again

An extremely well run operation that provided a terrific few hours visiting the sea life in Roebuck Bay. The pickup in an air-conditioned mini bus was on time; the transfer from shore to ship was very easy in an amphibious runabout; and Captain Cameron found us porpoises, dugongs, manta rays, shark and sea snakes. All in a most comfortable boat on the emerald blue waters of Roebuck Bay surrounded by the red sand rim of the Bay. Cooling off in the net behind the boat was a treat for a number of the guests. Tasty food snacks were provided by the attentive crew throughout the cruise. A highly recommended activity for Broome visitors.

We booked the sunset cruise which was absolutely awesome. The best part were the crew and the drag net which dragged you through the water and was very safe to do so. they provided great nibbles and were very accommodating. Cameron the skipper was always available with great information.
The cruise was so good with booked the morning cruise two days later which was on Roebuck Bay and got to see the snub nosed dolphins up close, dugongs and turtles. Yet again we got to go on the drag net again...what a buzz.
This is a must when visiting Broome and make sure you book early.
Thanks to Val, Cameron and the whole team..

This crew is hand down the best whale watching tour operator in Broome,

We have done three whale watching tours the pass few years in Broome, two of them were done with Broome whale watching. They run such a brilliant tour and very informative, show great respect toward the whales and other sea animals. Not to mention the crew, flexible and been so helpful through out the whole tour. We are definitely doing another tour with these guys sooner or later!!!!

I highly recommended even if you are local, check out their tour, amazing crew you won't disappoint!
