Stunning coastline - just watch out for the midges!. Broome is a beautiful spot. Sunrise over the bay and sunset on over Cable Beach - how lucky are we?

Lovely area to wander around and to walk along the foreshore, or to have a picnic in the park. There is a lovely little restaurant that is close to the water and it gives you a wonderful view of the bay even in wet weather.

It was very interesting to watch beach water tides low in mornings and enjoyed to walk along the beach . In afternoon beach water tides was very high and my advice to tourists to park cars further in car park instead park on beach . I learnt something about beach water tides for two weeks . We walked along the... More

We had significant difficulty even booking 2 onsite vans. Helpful lady told us on the phone there were 2 vans available. When we called back to confirm 'Arthur' said there was nothing available. Finally got on to the lady and it was sorted . The general customer service was not good. The vans are very dated and dirty. Not game... More

Best place to see staircase to the moon is from the jetty or from the beach in front of the caravan park. 3 days per month during full moon. Get there an hour early as it gets busy. Times available online and from tourist brochures. Nice plave to swim at high tide. Watch for turtles and dolphins. Markets on when... More

Roebuck Bay is a weird port. There is a commercial port and most of the smaller vessels are moored and they are reached by small tender off the beach. If going on a tour and you are not very mobile or do not like small boats keep this in mind before booking.

My wife and I took a Roebuck Bay Eco Tour to see Australia's largest known population of Snubfin dolphins. We were collected at our hotel and taken to the very comfortable boat to begin our three hour trip. Cameron the owner and operator really knows the area and the two girls who were the crew were excellent. There was morning... More

About 15km out of Broome, a visit to the Roebuck Bay Bird Observatory is a must for bird watchers to either visit or stay.

Nice little beach with cafe. Perfect spot for a quick dip or relaxing and even for a walk on the mud flats at low tide. Like being away from the big touristic crowds : go there instead of cable beach. Although, staircase to the moon is worth watching (with food from sunset markets); keep an eye out for the dates,...
