What a find after a long 4wd trek!

Visited this as part of a tour north to Cape Leveque. The work with the shells is amazing throughout. A must see attraction.

The tour we were on provided that however there is a bakery and coffee available there for those not on tour. Centrepiece of this town is the Sacred Heart Church with... More

We stopped by for a quick visit on our way to the Kimberley. The attraction is the all pearly shell tiles throughout the church's interior. A priest had recruited native Australians to decorate the church thus. It is a functioning church serving the community. Our tour guide had made a donation on our behalf.

Stopped here on the way back from Cape Leveque on the Mail Run. This little church is beautiful, such an exquisitely unique and beautiful altar. Even for non church goers, it's a must see if you are passing this way.

The exquisite altar areas of this church decorated with pearl shell are a true sight to behold. Anyone travelling up to Cape Leveque should take a stop here.

We visited on a tour as part of our Horitontal Falls day. This was areal gem with interesting history. Beautifully maintained stunning pearl alter and stations of the cross. The church is situated in a friendly aboriginal community. The general store is well stocked And they sell great jerseys to support the local school and make a unique souvenir. Beautiful... More
