So pretty

So pretty...colours, sandy beach, blue skies, warm water and not so crowded this late in the year. Even saw a turtle.

As you can't swim on Canle Beach due to stingers then this is a great alternative and shallow enough for kids.

I was here in September visiting Broome. Came to Town Beach to watch staircase to the moon! I enjoyed the night markets too. Great atmosphere with many happy people.

The attraction for us at the town beach was the playground with water fountains - kids had a ball on yet another hot day in Broome!!

Relax and enjoy watching the tides coming in and going out.... Just how a day at the beach is supposed to be!

We got up quite early to get to the beach in time to walk out at low tide. We have four children, and it was a decent walk, easily manageable by older kids, however our 7yo was a bit scared of things that were possibly sea anemones. This is a smashing little beach worth a visit for its wonderful, natural setting and the mangrove trees that step down into the water. It has a great camping and caravanning site next door and a great little café that served THE best barramundi we have had anywhere, ever, in Australia. Wow - it was so fresh and well-cooked it...
