We ate at the cafe at Town Beach and visited a second time as part of the Jetty to Jetty trail. It is a lovely spot to sit and see the tides roll in and out. You can see the port jetty from the town beach too. There is a pioneer cemetery there too. I've never been keen to swim... More

This is a peaceful and relaxing place to park yourself on the beach which is frequented by locals. It is clean, there is plenty of parking, facilities and a safe, gated playground for kids. During our visit, there was a warning sign of crocodiles so it was not safe to swim. The mangroves are not far away so it would... More

Recently upgraded this place is a haven for young kids and parents that love coffee. Well done Broome. Awesome place!

Town beach was clean. However, I'd recommend getting there at high tide. At low tide it's a long walk over small seashells which can be a bit uncomfortable. Also be aware that the café is only open at certain times. I got there around 2:30 pm and it was closed which was a bit disappointing.

This is the sort of place you could sit or walk around for hours. It looks so different depending on the tide.Walk along the beach, watch the people enjoying watersports and fishing.Pioneer cemetery close by as well.

After seeing Cable Beach don't bother going here! The beach was quite awful really- lots of drunk indigenous people in surrounding gardens approaching people asking for money. Felt very seedy. there's a little cemetery here and a kids play area. Seemed popular with locals but I was very disappointed.

Nice views across Roebuck Bay. Good for beachcombing, but not so good for seimming - the tide goes out so far and is rarely deep enough for a swim.

This is a great little spot just out from the town limits. Has a cafe there but we hadva picnic lunch. Plenty of shade tables & toilets. Great small water parks for kids & their building a new playground area, also a very small pioneer cemetery across the road well worth a look

Town Beach has had a bit of a makeover and now very kid friendly. Quite scenic with a nice beach and good areas to sit under shade. Make sure you check the tide tables as you wont be swimming if the tide is out!
