Cool!

Nice beach! I didn't swim at the beach, but did go for a walk and it was plesant. I'm a bit scared of crocks, even though I am reasured they don't appear in Broome very often.

Wow, the blue waters and red dirt just takes your breath away and the boab tree is not camera shy having posed for at least 15 photos. There were people enjoying the water, I am one of those view admirers who rarley leaves the carpark but it was very tempting in the hot weather to want to kick off the... More

Great for breakfast or lunch at the cafe as well as being able to supervise the children in the water park. Food is good. Views good. Best place to see the Staircase to the Moon and enjoy the food and goods of the market

Went at mid-day to Town Beach and the tide was in. It was nice to put your feet into the water, or have a shallow dip. Locals were extremely friendly, helping push out a young P plater who got bogged when towing his boat out of the water.

The Town Beach is a completely different type of beach to Cable Beach. Whereas Cable Beach is a huge 22km white sand beach, the Town Beach is a small beach by Australian standards. Cable Beach faces out to the Indian Ocean and the Town Beach faces into Roebuck Bay. Sometimes small is good, and this little beach has a few... More

A lovely beach, but you have to drive there. In addition, there is a most pleasant beach walk if you continue away from town, a mixture of rocks and sand.

We called in to take a look as we had rented a car for a day so it was easier to get to, though you can get off the bus and walk down here. As with most places in Broome, the cafe here was closed for the wet but we were there really just to take a look at the... More

What a lovely place to start our visit to Broom. A cup of good coffee at the Town Beach café overlooking the water started our day which got better and better as we saw all the sights.

Amazing to see how much this part of the world is affected by the rise and fall of the tides. If you pick the correct day of the right month, there's opportunity to see Stairway to Moon and the next morning, a walk though the tidal flats to hunt for Flying Boat Wrecks.
