Went there to walk the long jetty this morning and when we arrived we found that the jetty was closed until further notice. Took some photos but would have loved to walk up to the end.

But unfortunately cannot walk to the end as its blocked off at the moment due to works. You can go under it however and it's a great photo opportunity. Fantastic red rocks around also. Kids loved it.

We made a point of going to visit the Port because it was so high on the Broome 'To Do' list that we had - it really was a non-event, interesting in its own way, but hardly memorable.

We were unable to walk down the jetty as there are improvement works being done, therefore we could only view it from the grounds.

Given the large tidal movements this jetty is well worth a visit just to see it. We walked all the way out and back chatting to the fishing people.

The fish, mussels, scallops and prawns were all very fresh and yummy. The quantities were ok. A bit pricey but worth it.
