Stand on the wharf and look out at the water, watch the ships coming and going and loading and unloading, do a bit of fishing I suppose. It’s a deep water wharf so it’s like a lot of other wharfs. Not a bad place to have a look around but certainly more interesting and culturally uplifting places in Broome to... More

We enjoyed walking around the jetty, great food at the Wharf restaurant and there are some fantastic 4WD tracks just around the area out to Gantheaume Point.

Our guide told us how many tourists drive onto the beach at low tide, marvel at the scenery and go for a walk - only to return and find their car under water. So be warned! The fishing here is fabulous but again, be very aware of the tides.

The port is very industrial, and much of it is closed to the public, and had no information signs. The Wharf restaurant is closed if it is wet as all the tables are outdoors. Prices were high - $35 for fish and chips and salad.

Large wharf and jetty, no public access to the jetty. Viewing from the wharf is available, food and drinks also on offer. See the ships docked, loading or unloading from a great vantage point.

Would have loved to have a fish of here but it was closed for refurbishment on the day we were there. The view of the water is to die for and there was a little seafood restaurant there . We didn't have time to eat and it wasn't cheap.

Interesting and a beautiful shady restaurant $$$ is there, the walk out to the jetty is closed for renovations at the moment, but still places to walk and see.

Unfortunately, due to major and urgent jetty repairs, the Broome jetty is closed to the public until late 2016. It is a major construction zone at present (July-Aug 2016) and there is a lot of noise and construction work on a regular basis. However, most of the beach and rock areas each side of the jetty are still open to... More

We walked down to the beach and sat under the wharf to eat our lunch. The sand and water is a lovely back drop. Plenty of room and private areas to enjoy.
