We got the train from Gippsland to Southern Cross and the next day The Overland to South Australia. Couldn't fault this facility it's easy to navigate and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Big spacious train terminal that caters to regional trains, etc. East to navigate thru and have information maps. They also have a good sound system. Clean restrooms, and several food kiosks and shops. It is also next to an outlet mall.

I love this station, it reminds me of Paddington, and really is pretty user friendly to get about in. The signs are good, it's clean, well monitored by security and has a great range of eateries and book/magazines to buy too!

We always use the airport bus service which goes back and forward to Southern Cross station. Easy to get to and from City Centre hotels using free public transport as well.

Handy if you need a train, mainly long haul. Also the terminal for the Sky bus. Has pay for storage lockers. Grab a tram from there, free within the CBD.

There are. They are near the sock shop by the bus terminals. They were large enough to fit our oversized luggage and made our stay a little more convenient.
