This cathedral arcade is a lovely thing to see if you happen to come across it. It's not easy to find or obvious and it's not well sign posted. It's a lovely architechtural feature.

This is a beautiful old arcade that gets lost and fails to meet its true potential with some very average retailers in an around this area.. Worth a visit and hopefully it can be improved with time.

One of the problems with finding Cathedral Arcade is that it is over the road from St Paul's Anglican Cathedral, not part of the cathedral complex. You can enter from Swanston St or Flinders Lane. Architecturally, it's a very nice piece of Art Deco design....More

This arcade is spectacular. It has entries from Flinders Lane and Swanston Street. It is only a small arcade but well worth the effort to walk through. Even though I have walked through this arcade a number of times, I can't recall any of the...More

This arcade is surprisingly easy to miss even though it has entries from Swanston St and Flinders Lane. However although small, its beautiful ceiling work will reward any detour made through it. The round domed ceiling at the apex of its walkways is particularly impressive.

Stunning laneway, connecting Flinders Lane to Swanston Street. The art deco arcade from the mid 1920's is fully covered by stained glass and leadlights. Listed building.

I accidentally wandered in here today and I glanced up at the ceiling... it's stunning. Simple. Uncomplicated ... and well worth stopping momentarily to look at. There are a few stores scattered in the arcade, but I honestly do not recall what they were because...More

You can like Cathedral Arcade for two reasons: it is heritage architecture and it contains stylish fashion shops. If you enjoy old European arcades you'll like this domed, glass ceilinged arcade. The arcade is at the ground level of the Nicholas Building, and you can...More
