I walked from Port Melbourne to St.Kilda along the beach front. This beach is clean and a pleasure to walk along as are the other beaches in this stretch. There is a cafe close by and walking paths if you do not desire to walk the beach. Childrens playground is there too.

A delightful find in Melbourne. It's great in the summer when you don't want to be amongst the crowds of St Kilda and just want a quiet spot on your own. The sand may not be snow white and the ocean may not be crystal clear, but this is still a great chill out zone. Just be aware that the... More

I visit Middle park beach all the time. Perfect location to Albert Park or St Kilda, easy access by Tram 1 or 12. Often quiet so you have space and peace and quiet. Has Sandbar cafe on your door step! Great views of coast

Middle Park beach is good for a cheapish family day out. It has a sandy beach and shells for making sand castles, a café for food, drinks and ice creams. Outside showers as well as indoor showers and toilets. Parking is available on the foreshore and down the side streets (cheaper or free parking). The beach could be cleaner, the... More

can be smelly and plenty of flies! has sand and is a beach. apart from that - no facilities, poor parking, no vendors, limited restaurants, ice cream, drinks etc. i don't think anyone cleans the beach - you will a lot of buried cigarette ends, broken glass, wrappers, band-aids etc. they need to learn from european beaches which have the... Middle Park Beach has clean sand with crystal clear water. There is a wide footpath and separate bike/skateboard path with a narrow strip of grass and palm trees separating them along the 19th century blue stone seawall. There are beach showers, toilets, kiosks and cafes spaced along the foreshore. There are few rules on the beach which means topless bathing... More

A casual walk along the beach at Middle Park is very relaxing. There is much to see with sailboarders out, sun bakers, some nice cafe's for the daily coffee fix etc. Public transport is nearby with trams and buses to the City of Melbourne and the re is also Bay street shops close by!.

On a calm day this beach is lovely to stroll along and enjoy. On a windy day you will be wind whipped. i have encountered both. There is a cafe nearby and people obviously enjoy the atmosphere with the beach in the background.

I am a bit biased as this is my local beach, in Summer it is lovely with white sand and sailing boats. I love walking the beach even in winter as the view is splendid and my favourite cafe is right on the beach
