Good place to stroll around and have some quite time. Go there in the evenings and feed the possums. They are mostly tame.

Victoria is known as the Garden State, it's been printed on our car license plates, so it must be true. Victorians love their gardens, not only public gardens, but home gardens. Go to an established suburb anywhere in Victoria and you will see nice gardens. Gardens are found all over the city of Melbourne. Probably the most famous ar the... More

So many great gardens to visit around Melbourne. Too many to list and such little time to see them all. The great thing is they're free! Love this city

The busy city of Melbourne is beautified by gorgeous gardens everywhere. It is possible to walk for miles through beautiful greenery dotted with lakes, statues and flowering plants. That is - if you can drag yourself away from the shops!

The City of Melbourne is surrounded by Gardens in every direction, with the Ocean on the south side. There are the Carlton Gardens, Fitzroy Gardens, Treasury Gardens, Botanical Gardens and the Flagstaff Gardens. Great areas to explore and walk through. Always full of people and tourist enjoying the atmosphere and fresh air with all the magnificent trees and Flora.

Melbourne is one off the most blessed cities for gardens that I know. Here you are never far from a green oasis and the locals take full advantage of this facility. Visit as many as possible all are either good all the way to worldclass, they make a holiday in a big city enjoyable in my mind

Wonderful gardens are the icing on the cake for Melbourne's CBD. Vast expanses of grass and shady trees make exploring Melbourne a real pleasure. They make a lovely backdrop to some of the historic buildings such as the Treasury and Cooks Cottage and more.
