My team were awful, but it's a good stadium to visit. Easy access on the tram ( free in city ) or train to Southern Cross on Spencer street

worth checking out. even the least popular game gets 25 thousand people. the blockbusters can get up too 90k. the MCG is the best spot too watch the game in melbourne. Ethiad in the docklands is also nice as its indoors. be aware that trains...More

Excellent game, shame the Hawks didn't win though :( Superb atmosphere with all the fans mingled together. This is a 'must do' when in Melbourne, even if you don't support any teams.

Aussie Rules football (footie) at the MCG – marvellous fun, great experience, and extremely cheap (four tickets for less than £60). Recommended. 9/10.
