No. I just wanted to contact you to praise one of your tour guides, Alex Hickey. On Sunday April 2nd, I went on a Yarra Valley Wine Tour with my girlfriend and 2 other strangers. From the start to end, Alex Hickey has been absolutely fantastic! He had a wealth of knowledge about different places to visit, their features and products, history, etc. His selection of various wineries and the chocolate factory at the end was just perfect. With his great personality and humour, I'd highly recommend Alex!

This was a great way to spend a Saturday in June. Our guide, Ben was brilliant and his sense of humour and knowledge along the way provided much entertainment.
Ben also ensured that we didn't feel rushed at any point, making sure we had enough time to take in the wines and food at each if the locations visited.
Highly recommended!

Fabulous day today touring the Yarra valley with our wonderful guide Alex. I’m
Writing this on the bus on way home while everything is still fresh in my mind. Started at greenstone winery where we sat outdoors and enjoyed the wine and scenery. Our next stop was at Rochford wines where we had wine tasting with the most informative and extremely entertaining Keith. Followed by a wonderful lunch. Next off to the Yarra valley chocolatier where we enjoyed chocolates and ice cream. Finally, we stopped at Yering Station for our final tasting. Fabulous wines and fortified wine. We had the best day - would not hesitate recommending Yarra valley wine tours and will definitely do again when we next visit Melbourne.

The Wine Tasting venues were very good and very professional. Unfortunately, the bus driver refused to wear a mask on the bus and did not properly check each passenger’s vaccination status. Given the current outbreak it was highly upsetting and definitely spoiled what was otherwise a great day.

Our guide was lacklustre. He hardly talked and let one of the passengers control the microphone who talked instead. We always enjoy wine tours where the guide shares their local knowledge and this was such a disappointment. He had little personality or enthusiasm. Food was very late in the day (1.30pm) and the serving sizes were too small, we all ordered more food. Wineries could have spoken more about themselves so we could learn about their history and their stories. Overall this was one of the worst wine tours we have done. I would not recommend them.

Our tour guide Paul gave us a wonderful tour. We were greeted warmly by Paul at our convenient pick up point and the easy chat continued the whole day. Paul was very knowledge of the area and the wines and was also very relaxed as we we never felt rushed at any of the 5 stops. Paul (who became affectionately known to us as 'Custo') took us to 4 wineries (Greenstone, Oakridge, Rochford (where we had a lovely lunch) & Yerring Farm) and to top of the day, he took us to the Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery. We had the best day. Thoroughly recommend the tour and we will definitely book Paul again when next in Melbourne 😀

Can I know is this tour conducted on a daily basis and where is the nearest pick up point from Atlantis Hotel?

Hi goodkl, yes the Domaine Chandon and Wineries tour runs on a daily basis, that is every day of the year except Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day.
The closest meeting point to the Atlantis Hotel on Spencer Street is the Radisson Hotel on Flagstaff Gardens which is approximately 600 metres walk.

Hi, we are arriving in Melbourne on the Celebrity Solstice, arriving on November 10, 2018, at 9:00 and sailing at 6:00. Is there any way we can do a wine tour with you that works around our schedule? Is it possible to be picked up at the dock? Thank you!

Most definitely, give them a call as they are very accommodating
I will be in Melbourne from 29 July to 5 August, we are family of 4. We would like to go to Yering Station for lunch and visit Chandon for sparkling. A visit to Coldstream Hills and or Dominique Portet would be nice too. We don't want to self drive. Can you guys arrange? Thanks
