Nice little tavern with a beer garden (outside eating area). Note that you order at the bar and they bring you your food (note your table #). We tried the fish n chips, chicken parmigiana and chicken BLT. Chips were the best part. Food was...More

Enjoyed a couple pints of Hargreaves Hill plus a sensational parmigiana. Lovely historic pub with a nice atmosphere. Seating inside and out plus fun trivia on Tuesday evenings. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

If you’re in Melbourne and looking for an authentic British pub head to the Mitre Tavern. Outside of being unable to buy cask ale everything else (including the staff) is terrific.

even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
