Beautiful weather, people, horses and you can catch live acts and great entertainment for all ages if you go around November. That being said, Autumn and Winter racing is pretty good too!

This historically iconic track is home to the Melbourne Cup. You cannot go past this day in November without a great day out. The grounds are spectacular and the roses are just beautiful.

I have used the Tram before, stopping at stop 29. It is quite a walk to grandstand area. I would take cab or uber.
