What a wonderful way to spend a day in Melbourne. Our group of 4 enjoyed learning about the different cultures that call Melbourne home, the way in which these cultures have brought their cuisines to the city as well as a little bit of history of some of the buildings in the city. You will leave this tour, having a nice walk around town, belly filled and information you didn't know about this wonderful city.

I really enjoyed our tour with Janet. She was very knowledgable and took us to some places I didn't know about, Mabu Mabu being the standout. We started with a quick walk through the Immigration Museum to give us an overview of immigration patterns over the years which have resulted in Melbourne having some of the best food in the world. From there, we had coffee and doughnuts in a beautiful Italian cafe in Royal Arcade (Caffe e Torta), them various dumplings at Mr Bo in Chinatown, dosas at South Indian Flora, then Indigenous food at Mabu Mabu in Fed Square, before a delicious gelato as dessert.

Tour was a mix of culture and food and began with a tour of the Immigration Museum where we met. Great that only 3 of us attending, so good personal feel. Christine, our guide was friendly and informative. Our first food stop was about an hour in when we each had coffee and a hot cross bun. We had 3 more stops, Chinese, Indian and Indigenous based where we sampled either the guides recommendation or were asked for our preference(s). I believe that we could have had one more stop for gelato but we opted to stay at the 4th place (indigenous) to sample their desserts instead. We also went into a herb and spice shop. Personally, I would have preferred less time in the museum at the start as it was something that could have been done in our own time. This tour is advertised as food and culture so not as much information on food culture as I have experienced on other tours; again, the preference would have been fewer full sit down stops to allow more sampling 'on the hoof'.

We did the Moonee Ponds food trail. I can highly recommend, we are locals and we went to places we hadn’t been too. Food was delicious and certainly more than enough for dinner. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very open and friendly and certainly made the tour a great night. We will be going back to several of the places we visited. Great night

Our Foodie Trail guide was extremely helpful and friendly. Not only did she show us around the CBD, but we got to know one another a little bit during the time we spent together. And all of the food stops were fun and the food was great too. More than we could eat!!! An all around worthwhile travel experience.

We had a great tour and time spent with our guide Dhwani and fellow travelers with Foodie Trails, on our recent visit to Melbourne.

This Foodie Culture Walking Tour was excellent, especially with a visit to the Immigration Museum included. This is a food & culture tour, so starting off at the Museum was perfect.

Walking the streets and lane ways, visiting shops and learning about the different cultures in the city, was excellent. Having the opportunity to sample some delicious food from these various cultures, is what this tour is all about.

You had better arrive hungry, as there's plenty of food sampling on this tour. A must do tour if you love food and especially discovering hidden gem eateries, that only the locals know about!

Great day spent exploring the African influence in Footscray - went to many areas that we hadn't explored before. Himanshi was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, and really showed her passion for the food. Found many places we will come back to. Delicious food!

We visited some shops and restaurants. Heard history - Turkish and Turkish people in Australia, experienced culture and ate lots of yummy food. Sophia our guide was very patient with us - especially when we explored the shops and market.
