Visiting Melbourne with a friend, actually visiting many 'tourist' spots in Australia. Saw Sydney, Port Douglas and the final stop Melbourne (in that order). In all we took at least half a dozen 'tours' where we were driven or took a boat to explore all that Oz has to offer and this was by far the best. Katie was our... More

One of my bucket list items was to see the little penguins (they used to be known as the "fairy penguins") return to their home on Phillips Island. This is known locally as the "penguin parade" and occurs every night at sundown. I first saw the penguins 16 years ago using a different company. The tour took all day and... More

From the moment Travis met us at the pickup we knew it was going to be a fab tour. He personalised made everyone feel acknowledged memorising all names and filled us in on what was important. Driving was safe and ride comfy. Nobbies walk was beautiful and we got to see penguins and an echidna. Next off to the penguins... More

Hi jays4. Thanks for the review for your penguin express tour with the wonderful Travis. We are both delighted to hear it was such an enjoyable experience. Sorry about the late finish, that was unusual. We went out of our way to help some people staying out of the city centre. We really appreciate your understanding and the positive review!... More

I really enjoyed the tour on The Little Penguin Bus and give special thanks to Rob who was our guide with a good sense of humor and answered all questions. Pls don't take photos of penguins since they are sensitive to light!

My husband, myself and my little one-year-old girl joined the little penguin tour on 12/29. It was a great experience. We were so lucky since the weather was so bad that afternoon but it was clear at night . Lee is super warming and entertainment. He gave us a lot of tips to join the parade and gave a lot... More

This past December, my husband and I were gifted with the experience of taking the Little Penguin Bus through the Great Ocean Road, in Victoria, Australia. Our tour guide, Travis, was the perfect blend of knowledge, passion for his home country, humour & queued-up music! This tour lasted from 8 am until 11pm, at night. Travis took us through several,... Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
