Great trip to see the Little Penguins. Easy to book on line. Rob our driver arrived on time to meet us and provided a comprehensive commentary. We bought the Ranger ticket and were very pleased with the small viewing platform this included as it meant we got closer to where the penguins are. Would definitely recommend this tour operator

My sister and I decided to take our elderly parents to Melbourne for a couple of days and thought a trip to Phillip island to see the penguins would be interesting. We are so glad we booked the Little Penguin bus express tour as it was not too long a trip for them. Booking online was a breeze and getting... More

Amazing tour with our guide - David David was knowledgable of Melbourne & Philip island, takes time to stop by while you view the penguins, birds & wallaby ! Also well-equipped with blankets as the penguin parade area would be freezing cold. Thank you to David , a gem to the tour !

We have been travelling around Australia for the last few weeks and have spent the last week here in Melbourne. My daughter loves penguins and a work colleague had told me that The Penguin Parade was a good place to visit. We chose The Little Penguin Bus as the reviews were good and they provided the transport to and from... More

Travis was a fantastic tour guide and even though I have lived in Melbourne for 5 months I learnt so much more about it even before we arrived at the penguin parade! We were looked after so well throughout the day and given great hints and tips about where to watch the Penguins! ;) This was the perfect way to... More

Tour guide David was excellent, with interesting and new information, he didn't rave on about himself or try to be funny - just sound historical information about Melbourne and the region on the way to Phillip Is, which as an Aussie, I did not know. I really liked the sound ecological and environmental framework of the penguin experience. The Little... More

Hi Jyunqing. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review here. I'm delighted to hear you had an enjoyable tour with Rob. The penguin viewing varies day to day in the different seating areas, some days are better than others with a natural wildlife event. But you are right, Penguins Plus is generally a bit more reliable. We have... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
