This craft market is one of the oldest and best markets in Melbourne. If something is hand-made, home-baked or requires a traditional craft, you are likely to find it at the Williamstown Craft Market. The market is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month, on Commonwealth Reserve. There are more than 100 stalls to choose from. By the way. the Succulent Shed is a wonderful place to find potted plants.

The Williamstown Craft Market is a great outing for couples singles and families to enjoy. The market is located next to the bay so nice views of the bay. There is a selection of food options at the market as well as many restaurants and bars a couple of minutes walk awayThere is also live music. Many craft items on dispaly to peruse or purchase. The market operates on the 3rd Sunday of the month between 10.00am and 4.00pm. Well worth a visit.

We decided to visit this market prior to having dinner at nearby Shelley's Beach Pavillion at Williamstown Beach.
This market operates on the third Sunday of each month and has been operating for many years.
It’s a smaller market selling various craft items, local produce like honey, soaps etc as well as a food van selling coffee, profiteroles (mini dutch pancakes) and more
Worth a quick look if in the area.

The stalls were colourful and the quality of the goods were high, however there was probably only about 15 stalls and that was disappointing. The setting is spectacular on the waterfront looking over to Melbourne CBD and as a family we really enjoyed the visit.

All handmade goods and there is even music in the Bandstand, stroll along the Esplanade and take in all the sights of the City in the background. Buy some fresh mussels from the boat at Gem Pier, all fresh from Portarlington every Sunday, and only a few dollars a kilo.

Visiting Williamstown and before leaving visited the local Sunday Craft Market a nice way to spend a Sunday morning with the Hobson Bay as a backdrop. Plenty to see and buy if keen local life music playing while you wander around the stalls, well done Williamstown.

What a refreshing market and only a short drive from Melbourne. All the stalls offered fresh produce and you could spend heaps of time and money. Well worth the visit.

It's a lovely spot to visit- variety of stalls, good food, lots to do for the entire family. The craft stalls sell just about anything, from clothing to artwork. A good spot to find something special.
One can sit down by the water, and enjoy the views - the marina and the city, while listening to a life music.
Good spot to just 'chill out'. Across the street, one can find lots of gift shops, restaurants, cafes, even a couple of pubs within short walking distance.
Best to get there early, parking spots are easier to find.
