A regular haunt for one of the Meet -up groups I belong to when in Melbourne and it never disappoints. Fabulous decor with hidden areas if you want to have a more intimate conversation. Friendly efficient staff and a great Happy hour.

It is very convenient if you want to go there by tram just get down at the Collins Street stop and walk towards Louis Vuitton the left-hand side next to Hyatt Hotel in the lane is the place but since I was on a wheelchair they took me from another entrance from the main road... the staff is so so... This club has definitely changed since the last time I was there which was at least 5 years ago. Its quite large and busy however the podium in the center of the dance floor definitely attracted quite an unusual crowd. Best thing was when we left they handed us all a bottle of water.

I went on a Friday night to celebrate a friends birthday. Lovely staff, gorgeous decor & great atmosphere. An upmarket bar with a good class of clientele. Highly recommend

Staff are good but the service is a bit slow. Excellent venue for my son's 35th birthday party. Lighting effects and music are good.

Impressive entrance, opulent decor inside, busy bar, popular music and dance club. Fun dance cage in the middle, lots of seating booths and areas. Gets busy quickly at night.

Great bar but pathetic table service. Staff would take cash and serve drinks sometimes one at a time. But what annoyed me us that they would never bring your change back. So make sure you give them exact tender to avoid this. Otherwise it's a great venue.

This place is real plush with an amazing entrance that has you impressed as soon as you walk in. However, it just peaked right there. After being shown through the dance floor to bar I realised we were early and there was no atmosphere, but the music was kept low and comfortable to conversations. In fact the dj slowely built... Entered through the VIP line which for some reason took us some time to enter. The security staff were excellent but they really need more to expedite the folks waiting in the queue and I don't mean in the General Public Queue. Entering "Spice" feels very exotic and the decor and lighting is amazing, music is great and a very... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
